Our hero stories

Behind every fundraising campaign is a special child – with a unique story, a big wish, and the hope for a better life. On this page, we share touching insights into past projects and show how much is possible when many people help together. Every successful fundraising campaign is a sign that solidarity works – and that real heroes don't always have to wear capes.

Larissa fundraising campaign

Our visit to the hospital on July 8, 2025.


Thanks to numerous donations, we were able to provide Larissa with a shower chair.

Fundraising campaign Kevin

We are pleased to offer Kevin his first therapy sessions for his autism spectrum disorder.

Paulina fundraising campaign

We were able to accompany Paulina through several riding therapies.

Wish fulfillment Paulina

For Paulina's birthday, we were able to fulfill her wish and present her not only with a cake but also with cinema vouchers.

Leonie fundraising campaign

The renovation work for the accessible bathroom for our protégé Leonie. Participants included: Lightsaber Battleshow (see photo)

Fundraising campaign Lina

Our visit with Lina on March 4, 2024, after her last radiation treatment in the hospital. Thanks to the numerous donations, a blood cell monitor was purchased. Lina can now check her vital signs from the comfort of her own home without having to travel to the hospital every time.


We also managed to fulfill Lina's wish within two hours. Captain America and Spiderman handing over the treadmill.

Wish fulfillment & sick visit Filip

At Vienna Comic Con 2022, we were able to fulfill Filip's greatest wish: a photo with superheroes!


This was followed by numerous hospital visits. We also attended Filip's 17th and 18th birthdays and presented him with a wonderful cake.

Fundraising campaign Clemens

Our protégé Clemens suffers from a rare genetic disorder that causes his muscle fascia to progressively shorten. The disease is incurable, and he is now wheelchair-bound. But there is a surgical procedure that could help him increase his mobility for several years.

On March 5, 2025, we presented Clemens with a donation check for his surgery. It was an extremely emotional visit—even Clemens couldn't hide his joy and shed a tear.

Visiting Bruno

We visited Bruno in March 2025. He suffers from a muscle disease that, if left untreated, leads to death.

Charity run of the VS Schönau/Triesting

A heartfelt thank you to the Schönau an der Triesting primary school for allowing us to participate in the charity run again in 2025. Thanks to the students' tremendous efforts, we were able to raise € 780.
